Dr. Abraham Lieberman, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

Dr. Abraham Lieberman is a doctor of physical therapy who earned his undergraduate degrees at College of Staten Island and his doctorate degree at Touro College in NYC. Following his graduation, he moved to Houston to continue his work as a physical therapist, where he worked in numerous hospitals and outpatient clinics. Abraham specializes in neuromuscular and orthopedic interventions for pediatric patients. He has developed unique and effective physical therapy interventions especially tailored for each patient.

His understanding of children, development, and their needs is appreciated by parents and children alike. Dr. Lieberman has lectured at a variety of institutions on the topics of rehabilitation and remains a national expert and consultant for cervical torticollis. He continues to review the latest and greatest peer-reviewed articles in his field to ensure that he is providing the absolute best for his patients.

Abraham began Bellaire PT, where he continues to work hard to provide his patients with the highest level of care and train his staff to maintain that high level of treatment care as well. 

Dr. Lieberman practices physical therapy with exceptional and ethical quality care. 

Chani Stewart is an occupational therapist who received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Touro College and her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from New York University.
Chani has a special love for pediatrics and a special interest in sensory integration. She has worked extensively with children of all ages who have difficulty with processing and integrating sensory input. Chani has varied pediatric experience working in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, public school systems and providing education workshops for doctors, teachers, parents, and other therapists.  Chani has worked extensively with children who have rare medical conditions, genetic disorders, neurological injuries, orthopedic conditions, and cancers. 
Having four young children of her own, Chani has the opportunity to experience the wonders, joys, and challenges of parenting on a daily basis, which enables her connect to parents about developmental and behavioral challenges that their children may be experiencing.  
Chani looks forward to coming to work each day to help each and every individual child work on activities to increase his/her ability to participate in their individual occupations and progress toward their individualized goals in a fun and playful manner. 

Chani Stewart

Kelsey Wade, PTA

 

Kelsey had been a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) since 2016, specializing in pediatrics, sports medicine, and orthopedics. Kelsey is known for her creativity in exercise formulation focusing on developmental delay, neurological disorders, and torticollis. She is energetic and playful, making therapy fun and exciting for all of her patients. She has a passion for understanding how the body works and guiding littles like yours on the path to a healthy life.

Kelsey believes in continuing to learn and grow in her skills and is pursuing a transitional doctorate of physical therapy degree. Kelsey’s dog, Drake, is beloved among many of the patients here as he is present as a therapy dog at the clinic on Tuesdays.

Ileana Villarreal is an Occupational Therapy Assistant who received her BA in Psychology at Sterling College, in Kansas. Following her Bachelor’s degree she pursued an Associate’s in Applied Science at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Ileana has experience working with the pediatric population, especially children who have autism. She is passionate about neurological rehabilitation and enjoys working with patients on ideal processing of sensory input and other neurological conditions. Ileana is dedicated to patient care and committed to helping her patients develop life skills and increase their independence to perform daily activities.

In her free time, Ileana enjoys going on long runs, volunteering at SIRE, and spending time with family and friends.

Ileana Villareal, PTA

Dr. Mitchell Rickey PT,DPT

 

Mitchell offers outpatient and home healthcare services, striving to evaluate and assess patients thoroughly to create an individualized plan of care. He incorporates his training in selective Functional Movement Assessment and evidence-based care to help his patients meet their goals, improve their functional mobility, and increase their quality of life.

Mitchell enjoys working with a diverse range of patients and believes that the correct diagnosis is a key step in developing the proper care plan for his patients. Mitchell resides in Galveston, Texas with his wife and daughter where he loves to spend his time outdoors fishing and kayaking.

 

Cornelius Provost is a licensed and registered physical therapist assistant (PTA) who received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at University of Houston. He then continued his education to become a PTA at Coleman College.

Cornelius has gained wonderful experiences in the areas of treating pediatrics in the outpatient setting for strengthening and sports related needs. Cornelius has a great passion for exercising and addressing sports injuries with middle school and high school age students.

He is currently taking prerequisite courses to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at UTMB Galveston to further his PT career.

Denaye Eby
PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

 

Dr. Denaye Eby, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and earned her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. Denaye is furthering her education with fellowship training through the Manual Therapy Institute.
Her focus is providing the best evidence-based practice that is in accordance to her patients’ values to enable her patients to return to the activities they enjoy. She believes that compassion and patient/caregiver education are vital to support the patient throughout physical therapy.

Denaye’s pediatric work is focused on middle school and high school students who are managing orthopedic or sports related injuries and pain. Her favorite activities include running long distances outside in the Texas heat, hiking, and caring for animals 

Batya Berger
MS, CCC-SLP

Batya Berger is a licensed and registered speech-language pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Thomas Edison State College and her Master of Science in Speech Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. 

Batya has experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings including schools, home health, early intervention, and outpatient rehab. She provides speech and language therapy for children with various diagnoses, including receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic language disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Batya is passionate about helping each child reach his/her full potential and develop skills that will enhance his/her future. She is honored to be a part of the journey of communication and relationship building with children and their families.
