Cardiac Rehab
Therapy SPOT features physical therapy for cardiac illness and disease and post-surgery. Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is perhaps the most common cause of rehabilitation needs. Optimal heart health is especially important after procedures like stents, bypasses, congestive heart failure, or LVAD implantation. Our specialized knowledge of cardiac conditions and exercise physiology allows us to assess your cardiovascular condition, design personalized exercise plans, and closely monitor your progress. We will guide you towards improved cardiovascular fitness and overall well-being.
Our approach to cardiac rehabilitation is comprehensive and tailored to your needs. We begin with thorough assessments and an understanding of your cardiac history and goals. Then, we craft exercise programs focusing on endurance, strength, and flexibility. You will perform the exercise program with calculated intensity and supervision from skilled PTs to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Cardiac rehabilitation is traditionally 36 sessions of at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity ion a bike, treadmill, or elliptical while your heart rate, heart rhythm, and respiratory rate and effort is monitored. As you participate in our program, you’ll notice increased stamina for everyday activities, reduced fatigue, and greater independence in managing your routines. Equipped with knowledge and skills for long-term heart health, you’ll gain confidence and vitality. Together, let’s embark on a journey to vibrant well-being and a fulfilling lifestyle.
