Gross Motor Skills

Gross motor coordination refers to large motor movements of the arms, torso, and legs and involve the large muscles of the body. Gross motor skills include activities such as walking, kicking, lifting, throwing, and rolling. Physical therapy works on all of these areas through strengthening, coordination, and NDT perspectives to assist children in reaching their developmental milestones and progressing in their play skills.
